Paperback shipping times may vary, but they will normally be despatched 3-5 working days from the date of purchase. Most titles listed on Airbooks are ‘printed on demand’, once an order has been received.

All ebooks purchased and downloaded directly from Airbooks are DRM-Free (without digital rights management). DRM is copy protection or access control to digital content that’s applied to ebooks.

Customers who buy DRM-protected books won’t be able to share the book on their different devices, and could have problems in the future when hardware and software change. There can also be restrictions with the territory it is accessed from, and there have been cases where retailers have removed the book from the readers device.

• Ebooks from the Airbooks website are DRM-free (and some are watermarked), and will work on any of your devices—but it is illegal to distribute, upload to websites or file-sharing networks.
• Once you buy an ebook, you can download it as either an epub file (for every reader or device except the Kindle) or as a mobi file (for the Kindle). Both files will remain available to download for 2 months or 6 times.
• Depending on your ebook reader you can either just click on the file (iPad/iPhone), or receive it wirelessly by email (Kindle), or connect your device and drag-and-drop the downloaded file.
• If you would rather buy ebooks available from Airbooks for your device directly from Amazon, Apple, B&N, Google, or Sony, then they’ll be delivered to you in the usual way, with Digital Rights Management (DRM) applied.

Start reading straight away on your iPad, iPhone, or Kindle

If you’re using iOS (for iPad or iPhone), you should be able to click on the download link for the epub file and then select “Open in iBooks”. To read the book on your other devices you can either use Sync Collections in iBooks, or get the epub file delivered to you by email and open it from Mail.

Or download to your Kindle, Nook, Kobo, etc …


With some e-readers you will need to download the file to your computer, then connect your device to your computer—probably with a USB cable—and drag the file to your device’s books or documents folder.

Kindle


Save the mobi file locally, connect the Kindle with the USB cable, and open Finder, File Manager, or Windows Explorer (the program that lists drives and folders), and you’ll see a new device on the left called something like SDCARD. Inside SDCARD there should be a My Files or My Documents folder: copy your mobi file into there. Then when you go to your Docs section on your Kindle, you should see it.

Nook, Kobo, etc

Download the epub file to your computer, connect your Nook with the USB cable, and you should see a new drive or device called something like MyNookColor. If you have an sdcard in your Nook, you’ll also see an SDCARD. Copy the epub file to the MyNookColor/my files/books folder.

Reading your ebook on a desktop computer


On a Mac, epub files can be downloaded and opened in iBooks. For Windows, you will first need to download an ebook-reading program, such as Adobe Digital Editions. Once installed, you can download and open the epub file.

If your ebook appears as a zip file it means that you have yet to download the necessary software to read it.

Airbooks’ ebooks are DRM-free, and epub files are the global standard for electronic books—we’ve made every effort to ensure that they’re readable on any device or computer. If you think that something went wrong with the download, you can re-download your ebook 6 times within a 2 month time-frame.

Not legally. By sharing your purchased ebook with others, you will be breaking the licensing agreement in place to protect the intellectual property of the copyright holder. Authors and publishers work very hard to produce original works, so please respect this and recommend to others to purchase a copy for themselves.

Airbook ebooks are DRM-free – You can download each purchased ebook six times so you can have it on your personal computer or any future device we all haven’t thought about yet.

We understand technical errors, computer crashes and download limits can make life hard so you have six downloads for each of your purchased ebooks.  All we ask is that you don’t share it around and please use it for non-commercial purposes only.

You can download each Airbook ebook purchased by you up to six times. You can only use your Airbook ebook for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not share any Airbook ebooks purchased by you by forwarding or sending it to someone else, or use it for any commercial purpose.

Need to arrange for a return or a refund if your book received was damaged or faulty?

No problem.

Just contact us here and use the subject “RETURNS/REFUNDS” and our customer service team will get back to you. – Please include order number and a phone number, so we can expedite your request as fast as possible.

Refunds will be made to the same credit card (or tender type) that was charged for the original purchase.

If a product is returned for any reason other than it being faulty or not as described, the customer is liable for postage, and the book must be in mint condition when returned.

eBooks  cannot be returned or exchanged after purchase unless faulty.
